Great Quote!

Great Quote! Deer Hunting Story…even if you don’t care about hunting…Gotta Love Ted!

Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan , was being interviewed by a liberal journalist, an animal rights activist.  The discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, ‘What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, ‘Are you my friend?’ or is it ‘Are you the one who killed my brother?

Nugent replied, ‘Deer aren’t capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, what am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like  Congress.’

    The interview ended.

Bright side of bad days

By Admin, September 1, 2010 6:14 pm

There I was is sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a

really big, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs

my drink and gulps it down in one swig.

“Well, whatcha gonna do about it?” he says, menacingly, as

I burst into tears.

“Come on, man,” the biker says, “I didn’t think you’d CRY. I

can’t stand to see a man crying.”

“This is the worst day of my life,” I say. “I’m a complete

failure. I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me. When

I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and

I don’t have any insurance. I left my wallet in the cab I took

home. I found my old lady in bed with the gardener, and

then my dog bit me.”

“So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end

to it all, I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here

watching the poison dissolve. Then you, you ass hole, show

up and drink the whole thing! But enough about me, how’s

your day going?”

Sack Lunches

By Admin, August 22, 2010 7:30 pm

The Sack Lunches> >I put my carry-on in the luggage compartment and sat down in my >assigned seat. It was going to be a long flight. ‘I’m glad I have a >good book to read. Perhaps I will get a short nap,’ I thought.> >Just before take-off, a line of soldiers came down the aisle and filled >all the vacant seats, totally surrounding me. I decided to start a conversation.> >’Where are you headed?’ I asked the soldier seated nearest to me. >’Petawawa. We’ll be there for two weeks for special training, and then >we’re being deployed to Afghanistan> >After flying for about an hour, an announcement was made that sack >lunches were available for five dollars. It would be several hours >before we reached the east, and I quickly decided a lunch would help pass the time…> > >As I reached for my wallet, I overheard a soldier ask his buddy if he >planned to buy lunch. ‘No, that seems like a lot of money for just a >sack lunch. Probably wouldn’t be worth five bucks. I’ll wait till we get to base.’> >His friend agreed. > >I looked around at the other soldiers. None were buying lunch. I walked >to the back of the plane and handed the flight attendant a fifty dollar >bill. ‘Take a lunch to all those soldiers.’ She grabbed my arms and >squeezed tightly. Her eyes wet with tears, she thanked me. ‘My son was >a soldier in Iraq ; it’s almost like you are doing it for him.’> >Picking up ten sacks, she headed up the aisle to where the soldiers were seated. >She stopped at my seat and asked, ‘Which do you like best - beef or chicken?’ >’Chicken,’ I replied, wondering why she asked. She turned and went to >the front of plane, returning a minute later with a dinner plate from >first class.> >’This is your thanks..’ > >After we finished eating, I went again to the back of the plane, >heading for the rest room.>A man stopped me. ‘I saw what you did. I want to be part of it. Here, take this.’ >He handed me twenty-five dollars. > >Soon after I returned to my seat, I saw the Flight Captain coming down >the aisle, looking at the aisle numbers as he walked, I hoped he was >not looking for me, but noticed he was looking at the numbers only on >my side of the plane. When he got to my row he stopped, smiled, held >out his hand and said, ‘I want to shake your hand.’ Quickly unfastening >my seatbelt I stood and took the Captain’s hand. With a booming voice >he said, ‘I was a soldier and I was a military pilot. Once, someone >bought me a lunch. It was an act of kindness I never forgot.’ I was embarrassed when applause was heard from all of the passengers.> >Later I walked to the front of the plane so I could stretch my legs. A >man who was seated about six rows in front of me reached out his hand, >wanting to shake mine. He left another twenty-five dollars in my palm.> >When we landed I gathered my belongings and started to deplane. Waiting >just inside the airplane door was a man who stopped me, put something >in my shirt pocket, turned, and walked away without saying a word. Another twenty-five dollars!> >Upon entering the terminal, I saw the soldiers gathering for their trip >to the base. I walked over to them and handed them seventy-five >dollars. ‘It will take you some time to reach the base.. It will be >about time for a sandwich. God Bless You.’> >Ten young men left that flight feeling the love and respect of their fellow travelers.> > >As I walked briskly to my car, I whispered a prayer for their safe >return. These soldiers were giving their all for our country. I could >only give them a couple of meals. It seemed so little…> >A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check >made payable to ‘The United States of America ‘ for an amount of ‘up to >and including my life.’> >That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no >longer understand it.’> >May God give you the strength and courage to pass this along to >everyone on your email buddy list….> >I JUST DID> >Let us pray… > >Prayer chain for our Military…   >Please send this on after a short prayer…> >Prayer:> >’Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. >Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us >in our time of need. Amen.’> >Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say >a prayer for our troops around the world.> >There is nothing attached. Just send this to people in your address book. >Of all the gifts you could give a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, & >others deployed in harm’s way, prayer is the very best one.> > GOD>BLESS YOU FOR PASSING IT ON!

On Immigration Reform/Part I

By Admin, July 1, 2010 5:43 pm

From A Texan:

My great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Civil War, my father watched as his friends died in WW I and WW II, and I watched as my friends died in Vietnam.  None of them died for the Mexican Flag.  Everyone died for the U.S. flag.  Just this week, here  in Texas , a student raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole; another student took it down.  Guess who was expelled…the kid who took it down.  Kids in high school in California were sent home this week on Cinco de Mayo because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.  Enough is enough.  The below e-mail message needs to be viewed by every American; and every American needs to stand up for America .  We’ve bent over to appease the America-haters long enough.  I’m taking a stand.  I’m standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the U.S. flag can’t stand up.  If you agree, stand up with me.  If you disagree, please let me know.  I will gladly remove you from my e-mail list.  And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message.

   A Map Of My Country:

Let me make this perfectly clear!

THIS IS MY COUNTRY!

And, because I make this statement

DOES NOT

Mean I’m against immigration!!!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, IN MY COUNTRY!

Welcome! To come through legally:

1. Get  a sponsor!

2. Get a place to lay your head!

3. Get a job!

4. Live By OUR Rules!

5. Pay YOUR Taxes!

And

6. Learn the LANGUAGE like immigrants

have in the past!!!

AND

7. Please don’t demand that we hand over our lifetime

savings of Social Security Funds to you.

If you don’t want to forward this for fear of offending someone,

Then YOU’RE  PART OF THE PROBLEM!

When will AMERICANS STOP giving away THEIR RIGHTS???

We’ve gone so far the other way…

bent over backwards not to offend anyone.

But it seems no one cares about the

   AMERICAN CITIZEN

that’s being offended!

WAKE UP America !!!

A little (rough) humor during hard times

By Admin, May 24, 2010 5:54 pm

I am still laughing

We were dressed and ready to go out for the New Years Eve party. We turned on a night light, turned the  answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet, and put the cat in the backyard.

We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and we opened the front door to leave the house.

As we walked out the door, the cat we had put out in the yard, scoots back into the house. We didn’t want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird.

My wife goes on out to the taxi while I went back inside to get the cat. The cat runs upstairs with me in hot pursuit. Waiting in the cab, my wife doesn’t want the driver to know that the house will be empty for the night.

So she explains to the taxi driver that I will be out soon, ‘He’s just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother.’

A few minutes later, I get into the cab. ‘Sorry I took so long,’ I said, as we drove away.  ’That stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her ass with a coat hanger to get her to come out!   She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!’

The cab driver hit a parked car.

Obama, Shape Up or Ship Out

By Admin, May 11, 2010 7:32 pm

WW II Battleship sailor tells Obama to shape up or ship out !

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter  to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year.  People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate.  Now I live in a “rest home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can’t figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
” We’re no longer a Christian nation.”  “America is arrogant” - (Your wife even announced to the world,” America is mean-

spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who

died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.)

I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you.  To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said,” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.”

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British?  Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War?  I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination.  You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American.  If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue .  You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight?  You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing.  I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief now, son.  Do your job.  When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him.  But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out.  The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.

You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy.  That’s not our greatest threat.  Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.

And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle…

Sincerely,

Harold B. Estes

When a 95 year old hero of the “the Greatest Generation” stands up and speaks out like this, I think we owe it to him to send his words to as many Americans as we can. Please pass it on.

Weather you vote Dem. Or Rep., VOTE.  We need new blood in Washington.  If change was ever needed, it’s needed now more than any time in history.

Honor

By Admin, May 3, 2010 5:57 pm

You’re a 19 year old kid.

You’re critically wounded and dying in the jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam .

It’s November 11, 1967.

LZ (landing zone) X-ray

Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so  intense, from 100 yards
away, that  your CO (commanding officer) has  ordered the MedEvac helicopters to
stop coming  in.

You’re lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns and you know you’re not getting out.

Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you’ll never see them again.

As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.

Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter.

You look up to see a Huey coming in. But…It doesn’t seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it.

Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you.

He’s not MedEvac so it’s not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he’s flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway.

Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He’s coming anyway.

And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board.

Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety.

And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!!
Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm.

He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey.

Medal  of Honor Recipient, Captain  Ed FreemanUnited States Air Force,
died last Wednesday at the age of 70, in Boise, Idaho .

May God Bless and Rest His Soul.

I bet you didn’t hear about this hero’s passing, but we’ve sure seen a whole bunch about Michael Jackson and Tiger Woods.

Medal of Honor Winner Captain Ed Freeman

Shame on the American media!!!

Now … YOU pass this along to YOUR mailing list.  Honor this real American.

Please.

ICE CREAM OR ?

By Admin, March 29, 2010 5:04 pm

ONE OF THE BEST EXPLANATIONS

OF WHY OBAMA WON THE ELECTION

(AND MANY, MANY POLITICIANS USE THE SAME TECHNIQUE)

–From a teacher in the Nashville area

“We are worried about ‘the cow’ when it is all about the ‘Ice Cream.’

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year…

The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.

I decided we would have an election for a class president.

We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.

We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.

We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.

I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support.

I had never seen Olivia’s mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.

Jamie went first.

He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best.

Everyone applauded and he sat down.

Now it was Olivia’s turn to speak.

 Her speech was concise.

She said, “If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream.”

She sat down.

The class went wild. “Yes! Yes!

We want ice cream.”

She surely would say more.. She did not have to.

A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?

She wasn’t sure.

Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it.

 She didn’t know.

The class really didn’t care.

All they were thinking about was ice cream..

Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide..

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and

52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds.

They want ice cream.

The other 48 percent know

they’re going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess.”

This is the ice cream Obama promised us!  ( B.S. )

that they have not first taken  from someone else.

“Bail-Out” don’t work

By Admin, March 25, 2010 6:34 pm

”  BAIL’EM OUT!!! ???? , back in 1990, the  Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada  for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run  it.. They failed and it closed. Now, we are trusting  the economy of our country, our banking system, our  auto industry and possibly our health plans to the  same nit-wits who couldn’t make money running a whore  house and selling  whiskey?!”
                                    ”What ARE we thinking??”

Cell Phone *77

By Admin, March 23, 2010 6:13 pm

Subject: Cell phone emergency # *77

This is good to know.

I knew about the red

light on cars, but not the *77

It was about 1:00 p.m. In the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. A UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren’s parents have always told her never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called *77 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren’t, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind.. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.

I never knew about the *77 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe place.

*Speaking to a service representative at ** Bell ** Mobility confirmed that *77 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it’s your turn to let your friends know about*77.

Send this to every woman (and person) you know; it may save a life. This applies to ALL 50 states.
