I was shocked, confused, bewildered

As I entered Heaven’s door,

Not by the beauty of it all,

Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in
Heaven

Who made me sputter and gasp–
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,

The alcoholics and the trash

There stood the kid from
seventh grade

Who swiped my lunch money twice.

Next to him was my old neighbor

Who never said anything nice.

Bob, who I always
thought

Was rotting away in hell,

Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,

Looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus,
“What’s” the deal?

I would love to hear Your take.

How’d all these sinners get up here?

God must’ve made a mistake.

‘And why is everyone so
quiet,

So somber – give me a clue.’

‘Hush, child,’ He said,

‘they’re all in shock.

No one thought they’d be seeing you.’

JUDGE NOT!!

Remember…Just going to
church doesn’t make you a

Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Every saint has a
PAST…

Every sinner has a FUTURE!

Life without God is like
an unsharpened pencil… It has no point!

I Can See

Therewas a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. ****

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, ‘If I could only see the world, I will marry you.’

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,’Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?’ The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of

his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: ‘Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were
mine.’

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their
side in the most painful situations.

Today before you say an unkind word – Think of someone who can’t speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food – Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife – Think of someone who’s crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life – Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children – Think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn’t clean or sweep – Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another – Remember that not one of us is without sin and we all answer to one MAKER.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down – Put a smile on your face and thank GOD you’re alive and still around.

Christianity is now the target of persecution…

Christianity is now the target of persecution…   THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS! GOD BLESS EVERYONE WHO READS THIS AND PASSES IT ON.
I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT A HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CAN SEE THE PROBLEM, BUT OUR SOCIETY CANNOT. 

 
 

Tennessee Football This is a statement that was read over the PAsystem at the football game at Roane  County High School , Kingston , Tennessee  by school Principal, Jody McLeod

  

“It has always been the custom at Roane County High School football games, to say a prayer and play the National Anthem, to honor God and Country.”

  

Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a Prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at this time, I can use this public facility to approve of sexual perversion and call it “an alternate life style,” and if someone is offended, that’s OK.

  

I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity, by dispensing condoms and calling it, “safe sex.” If someone is offended, that’s OK.

  

I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an unborn baby as a “viable! means of birth control.” If someone is offended, no problem…

  

I can designate a school day as “Earth Day” and involve students in activities to worship religiously and praise the goddess “Mother Earth” and call it “ecology..”

  

I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classroom that depicts people with strong, traditional Christian convictions as “simple minded” and “ignorant” and call it “enlightenment..”

  

However, if anyone uses this facility to honor GOD and to ask HIM to Bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, then Federal Case Law is violated.

  

This appears to be inconsistent at best, and at worst, diabolical. 
Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and anyone, except GOD and HIS Commandments.

  

Nevertheless , as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and students to abide by rules with which they do not necessarily agree. For me to do otherwise would be inconsistent at best, and at worst, hypocritical. I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally. I certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression.

  

For this reason, I shall “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s,” and refrain from praying at this time.

  

” However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank GOD and ask HIM,in the name of JESUS, to Bless this event, please feel free to do so.. As far as I know, that’s not against the law—-yet.”

  

One by one, the people in the stands bowed their heads, held hands with one another and began to pray.

  

They prayed in the stands. They prayed in the team huddles. They prayed at the concession stand and they prayed in the Announcer’s Box!

  

The only place they didn’t pray was in the Supreme Court of the United States of America- the Seat of “Justice” in the “one nation, under GOD.”

  

Somehow, Kingston , Tennessee Remembered what so many have forgotten. We are given the Freedom OF Religion, not the Freedom FROM Religion. Praise GOD that HIS remnant remains!

  

JESUS said, “If you are ashamed of ME before men, then I will be ashamed of you before MY FATHER..”  

  

If you are not ashamed, pass this on .

  

I’m not one bit ashamed to pass this on, Are you?

Paid In Full By Jesus

After living what I felt was a ‘decent’ life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the ‘prosecutor.’

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn’t take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, ‘Let us begin.’

The prosecutor rose and said, ‘My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man belongs in hell.’

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and In the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life – couldn’t that at least equal out part of the harm I’d done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, ‘This man belongs in hell, he is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.’

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, ‘HI, DAD,’ and then He turned to address the court.

‘Satan was correct in saying that this man had sinned, I won’t deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this man deserves to be punished.’

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, ‘However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and he has accepted Me as his Savior, so he is Mine.’

My Lord continued with, ‘His name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch him from Me.
‘Satan still does not understand yet. This man is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.’

As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, ‘There is nothing else that needs to be done. I’ve done it all.’

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips…..

‘This man is free. The penalty for him has already been paid in full. Case dismissed.’
As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, ‘I won’t give up, I will win the next one.’
I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, ‘Have you ever lost a case?’

Christ lovingly smiled and said, ‘Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you, ~Paid In Full.’

If you do not pass this along  absolutely nothing will happen .

Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend,
(as I have done here), will bless you both.

‘Stop telling God how big your storm is.
Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!

One Sunday morning, an old cowboy entered a church just before services were to begin. 
Although the old man and his clothes were spotlessly clean, he wore jeans, a denim shirt
and boots that were worn and ragged. In his hand he carried a worn-out old hat and an
equally worn, dog-eared Bible.

The church he entered was in a very upscale and exclusive part of the city. It was the largest
and most beautiful church the old cowboy had ever seen. The people of the congregation
were all dressed with expensive clothes and fine jewelry. As the cowboy took a seat, the others
moved away from him. No one greeted, spoke to, or welcomed him. They were all appalled by
his appearance and did not attempt to hide it.

As the old cowboy was leaving the church, the preacher approached him and asked the cowboy to do him a favor. “Before you come back in here again, 
have a talk with God and ask him what he thinks would be appropriate attire for worship in church.” 
The old cowboy assured the preacher he would.
The next Sunday, he showed back up for the services wearing the same ragged jeans, shirt, boots, and hat. Once again he was completely shunned and ignored.
The preacher approached the cowboy and said, “I thought I asked you to speak to God before you came back to our church.”

“I did,” replied the old cowboy.

“And what was his reply?” asked the preacher.

“Well, sir, God told me that he didn’t have a clue what I should wear here. He said he’d never been in this church.”

There were over 50,000 Muslims

HE PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS! 

I guess it Doesn’t matter 
 

if  ”Christians” 

                                   Are  offended  by  this  event - We  obviouslyDon’t  count  as “anyone”  Anymore. 

The direction  this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian,especially knowing that

the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot beconverted, they should be annihilated.

I almost deleted this email but I was blessed when I got to the end God,

inappropriate during work.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday

morning….  Maybe, Sunday night…   
And, the unlikely event 
o f a midweek 
service. 
We do like to have Him around during sickness….   

And, of course, at funerals.   However, we don’t have 

time, or room, for Him during work or play…   
 

Because.. That’s the part of our lives we think… We can, 

and should, handle on our own. May God forgive me 

for ever thinking…   
 

That… There is a time or place where.. HE is not to be 

FIRST in my life.   We should always have time to

remember all HE has done for us.   If, You aren’t 

ashamed to do this…   Please follow the directions. 
 

Jesus said, ‘If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed

of you before my Father.’ Not ashamed? Pass this on

ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!!    Yes, …..  I    DO 

Love  God. HE is my source of existence and Savior. He

keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him,

I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. 

(Phil 4:13)    This is the simplest test. If You Love

God.. And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous

things HE has done for you…

Easy vs. Hard Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet

so easy to tell a lie? 

Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the

sermon is over we suddenly wake up?  Why is it so easy

to delete a Godly e-mail, but yet we forward all of the

nasty ones? Of all the free gifts we may

receive, Prayer is the very best one….. There are no

costs, but wonderful rewards… GOD BLESS! 



Notes: Isn’t it funny how simple it is for people to trash

God and then wonder why the world’s going to hell.   

Isn’t it funny how someone can say ’I believe in God’ 

but still follow Satan 

(who, by the way, also ‘believes’ in God). Isn’t it funny

how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and

they spread like wildfire, but when you start

sending messages regarding the Lord, people think

twice about sharing? 
 

Isn’t it funny how when you go to forward this

message,you will not send it to many on your address

list because you’re not sure what they believe, or what

they will think of you for sending it to them Isn’t it funny

how I can be more worried about what other people

think of me than what God thinks of me.

why it is that Conservatives are called the “right wing” and the Liberals are called the left.

I have often wondered why it is that  Conservatives are called the “right wing” and the Liberals are called the left.  By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:  Ecclesiastes 10:2      “The heart of the wise inclines to the right        But the heart of the fool to the left.” 

 This explains it!

Cerrtaintly GOD’s wisdom surpasses all that man’s minds can conceive

One Door Closes..Another Opens

Revelations 3:8

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He’ll catch you when you fall, or He’ll teach you how to fly! ‘The power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor. If you believe, send it. If you don’t believe, delete it.


I would rather live my life as if there is a God,
And die to find out there isn’t, than live my life
As if there isn’t, and die to find out there is.

“Lord, I love you and I need you,
bless me,

Vote the Bible

Dr. David Barton is more of a historian than a Biblical speaker, but very famous for his knowledge of historical facts as well as Biblical truths.

Respect the Office?   Yes.
Respect the Man in the Office?   No, I am sorry to say.
I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama !

I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President !

Why am I doing this ?
It is because:
- I do not share Obama’s vision or value system for America ;
- I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
- I do not share his radical Marxist’s concept of re-distributing wealth;
- I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
- I do not share his view that America is Arrogant;
- I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;
- I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
- I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American Citizens who need help;
- I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
- I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;

- I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);

- I do not share his
beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America ;

- I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East ; and
- I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran ..
Bottom line: my America is vastly different from Obama’s, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my GOD to do what is Right !
For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs !

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant !
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years !
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country !
They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD or Jesus Christ from our Society !
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to
bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code !  
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech !

Unite behind Obama?   Never ! ! !
I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!
PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his
Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him.  However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!! 
Majority rules in America , and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and his “goals for America .”
I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country ! !  Any more compromise is more defeat !
I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America !

GOD can be in control, we just have to let HIM

24 August 2010  If you have read my latest post on the state of our economy (Now and then 1929,2009, the coming depression, part XII) you would ask I’m sure, what hope is there if things are really that hopeless. If America found the perfect Congress and President to preside during these dark times, it would still take over 12 years for America to get on its feet and it would hurt. I have found over the years that when we trust God first and throw ourselves at his mercy that all things work out for the best; and that thinking applies to nations also.  {II Chronicles 7:14…If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.} Just prior to his death Moses gave some last words of encouragement to the nation of Israel in Deuteronomy 31.6: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee”. Though some could possibly make the argument that the scripture applies only to the Hebrews of the Old Testament; we are reminded in Hebrews 13.5: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have; for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” As we are faithful to seek first the kingdom of God, then He will be faithful to meet our every need
